There is a number of clubs that are participating in the proposed hub.

The list of clubs is not the limit of who will be involved. The Trust is open to expressions of interest from any sports or recreational club in the Carterton District. Now is a great time to come on board so that your needs can be considered and you can contribute to what will be a great asset to our district.

Carterton Rugby Football Club

The club was established in 1879 and has about 230 members of which 130 are seniors and 100 junior members.

Howard Booth Squash Club

A small, friendly club who like to play socially competitive squash in a welcoming and family atmosphere. This does not mean that they do not have some very good players. Whatever your level of ability they will have someone who will be willing and able to give you a game.

Carterton New World Netball Club

This is the biggest Netball club in the Wairarapa with 120 members with six senior and six primary teams.

Carterton Tennis Club

Carterton Tennis Club - logoThe Carterton Tennis Club came into existence in 1902. It was originally part of the bowling and croquet club next door. A legal right of way still exists through the Carrington Bowling and Croquet Club although the usual access today is through the Carterton School grounds.
